Friends

This is the card I made for the SCS Color Challenge to use only white cardstock and make it one layer...I LOVE this kind of card because its usually pretty quick, takes limited supplies (so you don't have to have alot to make it) and the simplicity is so pleasing to the eye...At least it is for me...I used the Friends stamp in Stampin Up's "Love Matters" set...I wanted to make the colors happy and I thought these fit the bill...One of my favorite things to do to a single layer card is put a bit of bling on it for a little something special...and not to take away from the colorful sentiment I decided to go with a white ribbon...I tried colored but it distracted too much from the focus...
Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate the time you take to visit my blog...Hugs Friends!....Cookie :)

Ok group hug!

Supplies: Stampin Up Love Matters Set, Stazon Black Ink, Watercolor Pencils by Kimberly, A Muse Bling (Heart and Round), Ribbon

And with all this "Friends" talk it kinda put me in the mood for this clip! Enjoy!

Oh Cookie - I adore your Friends card. It makes me so happy just to look at it. I just love love love this card! You have quite the knack for making the perfect cards. I'm certain they must bring quite a smile to each recipient. What a treasure it must be to receive a Cookie original.

I love the simplicity of this. The colors pop against all that yummy white space, and the dot of bling is the perfect touch!
