At the Cafe...

Hi! I hope today finds you well! I just LOVE these Mimi Stamps by Penny Black...The sets are so versatile and come with several stamps in the set so you can mix and match...My only wish is that they come out with a Miles version of this set...Everytime I make a card using Mimi my hairdresser says I wish it was a guy instead of a girl...So I am hoping they come out with some more Miles sets...On this one I used three of the stamps to make this scene of Mimi enjoying some java with her cute dog near by at the cafe...I added a bit of bling on the dogs collar for fun..I popped up different portions for dimension (Her beret, the dog, the coffee cup and the cafe sign). My FCM (Fairy Craft Mother) got me this adorable set...I hope she doesnt see this card cause its going to her house...If you do Aunt Lori...Thank you so much for getting this set for me...I LOVE IT!!! Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can find this set here...

Hi! I hope you are all enjoying some of this beautiful weather we are having...In Florida its getting hot already! But its so pretty outside with everything blooming and butterfly's flying around...I am hoping to get some new cards done and posted but until then here is a recent one I made for a challenge over at SCS...And I finally pulled out my lace I have had for a while to use on this card...I just love the look of lace on a card and have always liked using buttons too which I dont do as much as I should...This is one of my favorite color combos and I thought it would make a cute baby girl card...Hope you like it! Have a wonderful weekend!

St. Patty...

Hey! Hope you all are doing great! I have been looking for a cute image to make St. Pattys Day cards and I finally found it! Of course it would be Pink Cat Studio where I would end up....They just released some really cute images just for St. Pattys Day...I found some green gingham in my stash to add to my yellow, orange and white cardstock...Some black brads for buttons and a bit of gold sakura pen for sparkle on the gold and his buckles...The hat and pot of gold were cut out and popped up for dimension...I was tempted to add something else but really wanted the focus to be on the popped up items...Thanks so much for stopping by...To find this cute set heres the link...

Wedding Anniversary

Hi! Hope you are doing great! I had so much fun making this card...I found this baroque frame on google images and resized, cut and layered it to make this anniversary card...To make it extra special I used the punched out cupids and attached them as if they were holding up the frame...Some bling was added for a bit of elegance...The center of the frame was cut out so I could pop it up for dimension...Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great weekend...

Punchy Art...

Hi! Hope your having a wonderful week so far...Todays post is a card I made for the Color Challenge over at SCS (my second home). Many times when I see a challenge I tend to over think it and then I come back to a Clean and Simple design and I feel better...I have decided it must be the style I am meant to do...It always gives me a sense of calm...On this card I used three different punches...The SU Bird Punch for the stem/leaves, Martha Stewart Three in One Butterfly Punch for the tiny blue butterflies and the SU Three in One Flower Punch...The white is such a great canvas to start with...it gives the design center stage...it took me a a few arrangements before I decided to go with this one...Punches are a great way to make a quick card that still has punch...(yeah I knew I was going to say that). Have a great week!
