Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!! And I hope you have a wonderful New Year!! Today I am sharing a card I made using the Penny Black Mimi Globe Christmas stamp.  I stamped the image several times so I could cut out each image.  Mimi is cut out and slightly popped up on dimensional's inside of the globe.  I put glitter on all the snow flakes and on the tips of the snowdrift tips (torn paper).  Acetate was added to look like glass inside of the cut out globe...I then popped up the base of the globe and copic markers were used to color it all. The torn paper was popped up for dimension.  The designer paper was from a Christmas stack from Hobby Lobby. And special thanks to my Fairy Craft Mother who keeps me supplied with goodies!! Love you FCM!
Thanks so much for stopping by today....Merry Christmas!!! Hugs...Cookie

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  I wanted to post a card and wish you a harvest of blessings!  I just LOVE this sweet little mouse!  I fussy cut the images and made a little scene with the help of a fence punch and die cut snow drifts that I used to make hills...I added a tiny leaf because I thought it would look cute to make it look like he's looking back at it as if it fell off the pumpkin stem....Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Spooky!

Happy Fall Everyone!! Thanks for stopping by today....I just love getting out all my Fall and Halloween stuff this time of year to create some fun cards and I am so grateful to my Aunt Lori who makes sure I am stocked up on so many wonderful things I don't know what I would do without her!...On this card I used several die cuts and a cute image by MFT and Pure Innocence (Mummy) to make a fun scene...After I put the scene together I thought adding a bit of sparkle would be nice so I added some various sizes of star bling to the orange background.  Copics were used to color the image.  Hope you are having fun making your Fall and Halloween cards as well!

Fly Away Hedgehog...

I just love these cute hedgehogs!  They are so much fun to use....On this one I cut out the two images separately so I could add some black thread to the hedgehogs hand and behind the balloon...I added paper glaze to the balloon and its super glossy in person but didn't photograph well.   They are both popped up for dimension.  The word stamp is so fun to work with too! This one is a Halloween theme and its big but I cut it down once I stamped it...Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Trick or Treat Cat

There's a great challenge over at SCS today for CAS Monday to make a card with a Pumpkin on it....I cut out the image twice but the second time just the pumpkin so I could pop it out as if the cat was really inside a 3-D effect....I found this tiny paw print in my stamps and stamped it going across the white space as if he were to walk over and jump inside.  Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you are all well!!

You're Fabulous!

There is a challenge over at SCS today that I recommended a while back and that was to use Silhouettes on a card and they also wanted some stripes added to that....So I got out one of my all time favorite images and went to work...I had some pink striped paper that I thought would look great with Audrey and added some coordinating bling bling on her ear as well as under the "You're Fabulous" sentiment which I used a French Font and then punched out with my circle punch and popped up....The image was matted on linen black paper and popped up on thick dimensions...TFL!

Birds and Bling!

I have been having so much fun making cards out of silhouettes!  And I had a lot of colored tear drop bling in primary colors that I found a great use for!  I ended up making four different colored blings with coordinating paper to make a set....The Yellow (pictured here), Red, Green and Black (with clear tear drop bling)...Lots of bling on this card! TFL!
Hope you are all well....Hugs...

I have been having so much fun making cards lately...I sure have missed it....Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!  Congrats Cilla and Joe!!! We love you guys!!

You Light Up My Life...

I had so much fun making this shabby chic style lamp card...The shade was cut out and popped up with dimensionals for a 3-D effect and I found some teardrop bling in my stash that was a fun touch to give it a little something extra...Luckily they fit perfect over the drawn one on the lamp and I was really happy about that!  But of course now I am having a hard time finding anymore of this size...I hate when that happens...The sentiment I typed up in a French Script...Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great weekend!

April Showers...

Hi!  I finally got around to playing in another challenge over at SCS....The theme is "April Showers" and I found this adorable silhouette of a couple under an umbrella...I printed it out then traced around the umbrella on red card stock so I could cut it out and pop it up with pop dots....The very tips are taped a bit so the middle comes out the furthest for a 3-D effect...I only had three of these bling teardrops that I thought would be great for the raindrops!  Wish I had more but I went with what I had putting the focus on the right and having one drop about to hit her foot....A bit of black cardstock in each corner to give it a bit of a contemporary look....Hope you like it!  And yes it is raining here in Florida!  Hope you are all doing well....Hugs...

You're Fintastic!

Hi!  Hope you are all doing great!  I have to say its been so nice being able to play in the challenges over at SCS lately....I haven't been playing along as much as I use to and I have missed it...For todays challenge to chose an element I chose "water" cause I LOVE the ocean!  I used this adorable set from Birdie Brown Digi images who I am so happy I was able to purchase them before she closed up shop...I LOVE her designs and her cards are the best!  She is one of my favorite card designers...This card was inspired by a card she made using this set...I found the perfect paper in a stack I had that had a wave design!  I printed off the image and cut it out and popped it up along with the papers and then added the sentiment and some blue bling!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Peter Cottontail with Tulips...

Hi!  I played along with another challenge over at SCS to make a card with the Clean and Simple Design using tulips on it...So I got out this oldie but goodie set by Stampin Up called "Hello Spring."  It was one of the first sets I bought and I got the foam mounted one cause it was cheaper...I am so glad I still have it cause it makes for a cute CAS design...I watercolored the image and cut out the cut bunny and added a pom pom to his tail...a strip of green paper anchors him as he sits at the foot of the tulips....I hope you like this Clean and Simple card....TFL! Have a great day!

For Beautiful Lips Audrey Hepburn

Hello!  Its been such a long time since I have played along at the SCS challenges.  It was a very hard year for me last year..I lost my brother...(now both my brothers are gone) and I lost a very close friend....It put me down and out so I didnt feel up to creating much...I am hoping to get back into it more but only time will tell...I was inspired to make this card today and post it over at SCS for the CAS Challenge they have.  I found a saying by Audrey Hepburn and used part of it to go with this image...A bit of pink was added to her lips with a copic and some bling on her ear...The pink and black polka dotted satin ribbon was the last touch...Thanks so much for stopping by today....Have a wonderful week!
