Thats My Boy!

Hi! Hope you are doing great! I recently made this card to give to my son for his birthday...These Mos Digital Images are great and when I saw this one it reminded me so much of him doing what he loves...Playing games and snacking...lol...On this image I found some small black rope and taped it over the cord image by putting double back on it then pressing it to secure....It worked out great...A tiny hole was made to insert the top part through the back and then I taped it down...Thanks so much for stopping by... Have a great week...

Touch of Love...

Hi! Hope your doing great....I wanted to share a card I made a while back that I thought would make a nice Wedding card...I love the emboss paper paired with distressing on cards for a romantic vintage look but I kept it clean and simple...Vellum and Pearls were added to give it something extra...I was tempted to add some ribbon but restrained...I really need to use my cuttlebug more because I do love the look of the emboss...Thanks so much for stopping by today...Have a great day! Hugs...Cookie :D

Stirring Up Trouble...

Hi! Happy Labor Day...I wanted to share another quick and easy Halloween card using those fun acetates by Martha Stewart and EK Success...These are the more whimsy ones I had told you about in my previous post....These are fun too because they sparkle! This is one of the large ones in the pack so it takes up alot of your card front...I used paper from her Halloween stack to go with this acetate witch....a bit of black satin ribbon for fun and your done! I do love stamping and coloring alot but when I am pressed for time its great to have these type of supplies around...A great deal for them too...Only 4.99 for 36 pieces! Plus use a coupon for another 40 percent off...Its a good deal...I hope you have a great day today... Thanks for stopping by....

Beware.....

Hi! Hope your all doing great...I saw these great acetate die cuts at Michaels the other day by Martha Stewart/EK Success and just had to get them to try...I was sitting right there on the floor with all 36 of these die cuts spread out looking to see what all you get...lol...There wasnt a photo of what all was in them so whats a girl to do? Anyways I loved all of them! And I thought they were a great price for so many pieces especially if you have a coupon too...So I took the plunge and got them along with another pack of more whimsy ones that I will share a card or two I have made using those also...I have to say they are so much fun to play with...I created this scene on a single piece of metallic cardstock and added red bling here and there for sparkle...Glues dots were added to the parts of the fence in black to attach to base so you cant see them...Pop Dots were added to pop up the headstone and owl....This card was a hoot to make...(no pun intended)....hehe...If you get a chance stop by SCS and get in on the challenge for today to make a card using a single piece of cardstock....Thanks so much for stopping by...I really appreciate the time you take out of your day to do so...Hugs!! Cookie :D
