Birthday Butterflies...

Hi! Hope you are having a wonderful day today...I wanted to share this beautiful card that my Aunt Lori made, she is the most generous and giving person I have ever known she is always giving to everyone and this card goes with a gorgeous basket that she made to go along with it for someones birthday...I just LOVE the colors and papers and how she placed the punched out butterflies that go perfect with this stamped image on the top note...Its because of her that I am able to create and share with anyone who stops by here...Thanks Aunt Lori for sharing this BEAUTIFUL card with us today....And for all you do for everyone!

The Little Gardener...

Yep its another Pure Innocence Digi Image...I just think she is so sweet! On this one I cut out the images and popped up the girl and the seed packets...I found the seed package image online and resized them and then added an Elzybell flower stamp I had and a bit of white gel pen to the centers...The watering can was added to the ribbon with a jumper ring...I am so glad spring is here! I love it...Easter is just around the corner...Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Fan Mail...and Starsky and Hutch...

For the challenge over at SCS we were to make a card that was inspired by a childhood memory...I have always been star struck and had my share of crushes...When I was younger I had a crush on David Soul who played Hutch on the show "Starsky and Hutch". People at school use to call me Hutch...One of my teachers would even call on me when I raised my hand as "Hutch"...lol...anyways I used to write letters to David Soul in hopes to get a reply...I finally got an autographed picture of Starsky and Hutch in the mail...Its funny my taste has changed I guess because if you ask me now I think Starsky is more my type...But I was young then so I guess I have changed, even though I am still a star struck person...Now I have to play a clip from Starsky and Hutch! LOL!

Party Princess...

Hey! Hope you are having a great week so far...I having been playing around with copics trying to get the hang of them...I LOVE the saturation they have but I am far from mastering shading and blending techniques...On this image I added a bit of bling to her crown for fun! love everlasting...

I have been loving the challenges over at Moxie Fab World....Heres another challenge called "Diggin' on Doilies and Lace" which got me looking for some cake doilies I had stored away...They were really big but I loved the pretty designs on it so I cut out what I wanted and started playing around with layouts on some black and hot pink paper...Added some bling on the doilie, punched out some butterflies and then added bling to them, a sentiment and some black satin ribbon and heres what I came up with...Really different from the cards I usually make but I had fun with it...Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Ode to Julie...

Hey! Theres a great challenge going on over at the "A Muse Lounge" in honor of one of my favorite designers! Julie Ebersole! I was inspired by this cute card over at Paper Trufflez...I loved the way she popped up the cart on her card...I didnt have a grass punch and my grass scissors didnt quite cut it (no pun intended...) so I used the MS picket fence punch, paper pieced and popped up the awning, cut out the wheel and put a brad through it for fun, the inside reads "I'd pick you"...I hope I did her proud! Shes a tough act to follow! Love ya Julie!! Hugs...Cookie

Moxie Fab Challenge...

Theres a challenge over at Moxie Fab and I LOVE the happy springtime colors! The image in the middle really stood out to me with the pink and peach/yellow! I used my top note and made two different cut outs of paper cut them in half, tied some pretty ribbon to cover up where they meet and give it some softness....Then found some letters in my stash to spell out HI...a butterfly with a bit of bling tops it off...If you have a chance get in on the fun!
