Mmmm Cupcake and Coffee...

Mmmm Cupcake and Coffee(in my best Homer Simpson voice)...lol...I just inked up this guy today...isnt he cute! After I made it I thought it would make a nice Fathers Day card and I guess its not to early to start since its coming up in June...I popped up his head and the cupcake for dimension and added some red bling for the cherry...I am so hooked on the Clean and Simple style now I have a hard time straying from it...I have always like the focus to be on the image...A bit of ribbon was added as a tag on the side just for a little interest...I am finally going to see a flick I have been wanting to see called Ghost of Girlfriends Past tomorrow let me know if any of you guys have seen it...I LOVE romantic comedies...I am such a SAP!
Update: Saw the movie today and it was so cute! I would recommend it...Especially if you like Comedy/Love Story type movies like me...

Ribbon Framed Butterflies

Hey!
Well its not raining here as much and I think the sun is starting to show up more often whoohoooo...I like to try and post a couple of times a week so while I get some new cards photographed I thought I would post a challenge I did a while back on SCS, it was to make a ribbon frame...It was really easy so if you go here you can check it out and if you have time give it a try! I stamped the image twice then cut out the butterflies and watches so I could pop them up for dimension, a black brad was added to the center of the large watch...I added glaze to the face of the watches so it gives it a glass effect (sorry it doesnt show up in the photo) This is a stamp I saw at Joanns for a long time and then decided to finally get it...Everytime I saw it I kept thinking of how fun it would be to make a card with it...so here it is....Thanks for stopping by! Hugs....Cookie :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms out there! I had made this card a while back for my Mom who LOVES to shop and LOVES to dress up too...I thought I would try to mimic a shopping bag by using tissue paper (that I secured inbetween two layers) and a ribbon handle...A bit of bling was added to her hang with a jeweled brad...I popped up part of her hat for dimension...I hope you all enjoy your day you deserve it! Hugs...Cookie
Love shower coming your way Mom!

Strawberry Ice Cream (On A Sugar Cone)

I LOVE this A Muse Ice Cream Truck...I thinks its one of my all time favorites...I made this card for two challeges...One for the A Muse Lounge Monthly Challenge (A Muse is celebrating Eight Years isnt that Wonderful!) I just love their stamps! And also for a challenge over at SCS for the Ways To Use It Challenge to use kraft paper...I used some pink and silver brads for bling on the wheels and I like how kraft and pink look together so thats the colors I chose and since I LOVE strawberry ice cream it tied in well with the colors... Have A Wonderful Day! Hugs!....Cookie
