I have been on and off with my cardmaking and hope to be more active. I wanted to share this card today to celebrate summer. I found this great designer paper at Hobby Lobby of palm trees and used it as a border for my summer scene. The sand was created by using designer paper as well. I colored and cut out the image and than added dimension by coloring another section of the image (hula skirt n flower) and popped them up. A tiny pearl added to the center of her hair flower, than used my wave scissors and white gel pen. Two shades of blue for sky and water and circle punch for the sun. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01566402886616548346noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367074145285410319.post-90930383562495600592020-12-14T11:22:00.006-08:002020-12-14T11:44:39.363-08:00Beachy Christmas for Rick

I wanted to make my hubby a special card this year. I was so wanting to add the snow drifts on all of them but due to personal issues I didnt have enough time. I wanted to post one with the snow drifts (it doesnt show up in the pic but sakura silver pen was added on the caps for shimmer.) Thanks to my Aunt Lori who gave me this adorable set and die cuts by Birdie Brown and on My Favorite Things store. Because of Aunt Lori everyone will get this sweet Santa! I added a pom pom on his hat and sakura pen on his buckle. Dimensions were used on Santa n the snow drifts and the polka dot paper was a great backdrop for a look like snow is falling.

Supplies: MFT Birdie Brown Stamp n Die Cut Set, Copics, Sakura Stardust Pen, Pop Dots, Recollections papers, Snow Drifts Die Cut and Pom Pom.

Cookiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01566402886616548346noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367074145285410319.post-67660010950861730962020-08-30T18:39:00.001-07:002020-08-30T18:44:08.502-07:00"Spooky" card with Guest Designer Lori

Hey guys!

I wanted to share this great Halloween card "Spooky" by Designer Lori Hamilton. I had so much fun making this card! It went to my Aunt Lori who I also call my Fairy Craft Mother (because she keeps me stocked in goodies.) She loves her doggies as so does my Uncle. She just had a birthday and I knew just what I wanted to make her. I love making scenes like this using different punches and images. I will be sharing several other cards I have made since hibernating. Love you Aunt Lori! I hope your day was as special as you are!
I made this for a challenge over at SCS for being thankful to all who are involved with helping out during this time. I decided to make mine for chemists who are working to help to get this under control. There are so many out there doing their part. I hope we can all get back to normal as soon as its safe. I fussy cut the images, scored the paper for the wall, used brick emboss for the floor and a strip of white cardstock for the baseboard, Sakura stardust pen was used on the bottles and the tiny bubbles I added. Thanks for stopping by!
I wanted to share another Christmas card I made using the same sweet kitty but on this one I tore a few layers of paper and used pop dots inbetween for dimension of my snow and a silver sakura pen was added to the caps of the snow layers for shimmer.
I ended up trimming his whiskers when I fussy cut the cat out. Red bling was added to the holly around his neck. This kitty is ready to get in the house where its warm! Thanks for stopping by.
Been a long time since I posted and wanted to share my Christmas Card for 2019. I ended up using 7 different designer papers and this is one of the cards using the holly leaves and I added a red strip of cardstock just along the bottom. Three bits of red bling were placed on the cat image over the holly berries. The image panel was raised with pop dots for dimension. White sheer ribbon tied to the side to finish it off. Over 40 cards were put together and they came together pretty quickly. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happiest New Year yet!
I love making scene cards and this sweet girl from MFT made it easy. I cut out the images and used die cut grass and clouds along with a round punch for the sun. Hello! Been a long time! I have been very wrapped up in some personal matters and haven't been making too many cards lately. I made this one today for the challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers to make a card involving rain.

I made this card using SU card stock and a cute clipart image. I printed the image on blue cardstock twice and then cut out just the umbrella on one image and taped it down over red cardstock to cut out the red umbrella. I found a teardrop bling above her hand and a bit of red satin ribbon on her dress waistline. Dimensions were also used to pop up the umbrella and image panel. It sure has been raining her a lot so this was the perfect card for it! TFL! Christmas is almost here and I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year! I wanted to share a card I made during the holiday season. I like to make cards while the tree and house are decorated because it puts me in the spirit. But I think next year I will start a bit earlier with making cards so I can spend more time embellishing them. Today I want to share a card where I cut out the hedgehog and added dimensionals to give him a 3-D look. I tore some paper and popped it up in front to give the effect of snow and added glitter on the top of the snow bank and parts of the mailbox as well. White ribbon was added and I punched out some musical notes to add to the white space on the top right. Thank you for stopping by!
Hello! I hope you are doing well and appreciate you stopping by. I wanted to share a card I made last year that I never got around to posting here on the blog. I will be uploading a card in the next couple of days that I made for my 2018 card. On this I ended up cutting out the whole Elf image and applying dimensionals. I colored him with copics before I cut him out. Green bling was added for buttons and silver glitter pen on the bell on his hat. I love this sweet image by Birdie Brown at MFT's. He was so much fun to color. Hope you have a Wonderful Christmas!
Christmas will be here before you know it and today I want to share with you one of my favorite card designs known as CAS (Clean and Simple). This adorable Christmas Party Invite was created by Guest Designer Ashleigh Mello who loves to create and is a great cook as well!
The CAS design is perfect for mass producing for invites or Christmas cards. And with this card, not only is it clean and simple its packs a punch by using the contrasting colors and an adorable Santa with his red sparkly hat. So much fun! And it was made by using a Christmas gift tag. So clever! Ashleigh removed the string and then placed red glitter tape to hide the hole. Popped it up on the card and you have a quick and easy, clean and simple adorable Christmas Party Invite! Thank you Ashleigh for sharing this adorable card!
I can't believe I have not posted in so long. I have been very busy with personal matters and going through some depression as a result.
So I have put my card making on hold but I wanted to post a card I made a while back that I never posted here on my blog. I had so much fun making it too and hope to get around to making cards again. This card is made using Birdie Brown designs which I love! I used two different circle die cuts and some brads for the porthole effect. I colored and cut out each image and made this scene. I hope it makes you smile. Thanks for stopping by!
One of my favorite styles is the CAS (Clean and Simple) style. Once I decide on a idea the rest of it comes together quickly and easily (unless I cant find what I need right away) but I love the simplicity of the style. On this card I found a designer paper I liked and cut out the oval, to make it more sturdy it was backed by white cardstock when cut. I popped it up on a thick dimensional and punched out a butterfly using the Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch. Small gems were added to the body of the butterfly and white ribbon finished it off.
Thanks for stopping by today!
I had so much fun making this card! I had this space themed designer paper to place behind the large die cut circle. Star gems were added for fun. Thanks for stopping by!
I made this card for my Fairy Craft Mother! If it werent for her I would not be able to make so many cards. She is an awesome card designer and shares her kindness and craft with many people at her sisters church so they too can make cards with the items she puts together for them. She is one awesome lady who I am happy to call my Aunt Lori! Thank you Aunt Lori for all you do for so many! Love you!. Merry Christmas!
I have always loved this cute Santa by Birdie Brown with MFT. He is so fun to use on cards.
I colored him with copics and cut him out. I added a pom pom to his hat and sakura silver glitter pen to his belt buckle. He was popped up with dimensions on top of the sentiment where I added an icicle die cut and glitter was applied. Bling was added to the designer paper snowflake centers. TFL!
