I had so much fun making this card...The butterfly was cut out of a K&C Designer Paper Stack...To give it more substance after I cut it out and taped it down to a piece of cardstock then cut it out again....I have been using my swiss dots folder alot more lately and used it on this card too....The sentiment is from SU Whimsical Words...Bling is one of my favorite things to use on cards to give them something special....Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!

Too Much Monkey Business...
I made this card for my Grandson who will be turning 3 years old in August! I have been calling him monkey lately so when I saw these cute stickers I had to make a card using them...The embossed leaf and kraft paper I thought went well with the theme...Twine was added to make it look like the guys were swinging from it and the one of the bottom has a dime on the backside so its weighted enough to swing back and forth...My Stampin Up buttons were the perfect color to go with this card...I couldnt help but think of a song Elvis sang called "Too Much Monkey Business" so I had to find the song on youtube...Have a great week!!

You Make Me Smile
I always love looking at the different styles of cardmakers out there and Moxie Fab World is having a card style week to celebrate their new magazine Card Style...I tend to stick with Clean and Simple Designs but love looking at the Vintage Collage Style cards out there too...Julia Stainton over at Belle Papier makes some beautiful vintage style cards and I have always wanted to try it! I went to Michaels and found a package of great die cuts by K&Company for half off the original price! The package is filled with great die cuts for just over 2 bucks! So I grabbed it and went home and got out some papers that I had by K&Company that went perfectly with the die cuts...I played around with a collage I was happy with and using my pop dots started to build my card...Pearls were added to the birdcage and some SU buttons for fun...I had so much fun making this card and want to say Thank You to Julia for inspiring me to give it a try...I had so much fun I went back to Mikes and got a second package! I encourage anyone to try a design they normally wouldnt do... I really enjoyed it for a change! Thanks for stopping by...Have a great day!

This is my first time making a card using one of Mos Digital Pencil images this one is called "Taking a Break"...Theres a challenge going on to make a boy/guy card over at Mos Digital Pencil Blog...I colored and cut out my whole image and then sat them on some green and used my grass scissors (I cant find that MS grass punch?) and punched out a fence for the background...Layered it all using different degrees of pop dots for dimension and then used a circle punch and flower punch for the sun....This card was fun to make...Paper glaze was added to the dogs nose for shine...Stop by over at Mos Digital Blog for details on the challenge! Its fun! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hi Butterfly!
Hi! Hope your having a wonderful day today and ready for the weekend! I wanted to share a card I made for the CAS Challenge over at SCS to use embossing on your card...I chose to use the Swiss Dots Folder on a punched out flower...I found some foam letters to spell out "Hi" and used a DP butterfly and some bling for fun...A clear button with thread was added to the center of the flower for a little extra something...
Supplies: Foam Letters, DP by K&Company, DCWV and SU Papers, SU Flower Punch, SU Clear Button, Thread, Pop Dots, Bling, Swiss Dots Folder, Cuttlebug and Circle Punch
Tip: For butterfly antennas I cut very thin paper strips and taped them to the back

Cards for Mark Meyer
Todays post is very close and dear to me....its dedicated to our Nephew Mark Meyer who just recently was diagnosed with Lymphoma and is undergoing treatment I had posted about it not too long ago on this blog then a sweet angel named Peggy aka marilynprestonn sent me an email wanting to know if it was ok to get some cards to Mark (here is her post about Mark...)I was in awe of her kindness as well as the family...What a wonderful thing to do! Then what I like to call the "Splitcoast Angels" started sending cards from all over! What a blessing this is for Mark!! This will bring such a smile to his face and I know it will be good for him to know how many people are thinking of him during this time...Mothermark and gbedwright have started challenges today posted here and here in honor of Mark...You are all so wonderful and I want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart!!! I am hoping to get photos of Mark with his cards and be able to share them if I can....To everyone who has sent a card to Mark or who is planning on it...Many blessing to you for being part of putting a smile on his face...Hugs and Love to you all!! Cookie...aka Stampgroover

You're too kind...
Hi! Hope your doing great today! So glad the weekend is here! On this card I used SU Whimisical Words set...its was a little to small paired with the designer paper and I wanted it to really be center stage so I stamped it, scanned it and resized it before I matted it...I love using this SU punch as a border on the bottom of my matted images and sentiments...The colors in this K&Company are so happy I couldnt wait to use them...I added some punched out butterflies and blinged them up a bit (I do believe this MS Three in One Punch was one of the best investments ever I use it all the time). Sheer white ribbon tops it off....Thanks so much for stopping by...I really appreciate you! Hugs....Have a great weekend! Cookie :D

Driving in Style...
Heres is a card request I had for a friend of mine...He wanted me to use my Bella in the car but make it a Fella instead...so with the help of my photoshop I stamped and scanned the image...took out the girl and stamped and scanned my guy and put him in...It was actually kinda fun and I surprised myself that I figured it out pretty fast...I have done this kind of thing before but ran into a slight delay but figured it out...keeps me on my toes...he wanted the car pink with bling so that was what he got...He was happy with the results...Glad he liked it...I added his name to the front too...No last names were used in this post...Hehe....Have a great day!
