Been a long time since I've posted.  I have been taking some time off from making as many cards as I used to but wanted to start up again.  I made this card for a very good friend of mine and had fun making it! I popped up the coffee cups and added black gems for the bears buttons on his sweater and pom pom on his hat.

Sunny Smiles

It's been a long time since I have posted here on the blog!  I have been on and off with my cardmaking and hope to be more active.  I wanted to share this card today to celebrate summer.  I found this great designer paper at Hobby Lobby of palm trees and used it as a border for my summer scene.  The sand was created by using designer paper as well.  I colored and cut out the image and than added dimension by coloring another section of the image (hula skirt n flower) and popped them up. A tiny pearl added to the center of her hair flower, than used my wave scissors and white gel pen. Two shades of blue for sky and water and circle punch for the sun. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Beachy Christmas for Rick

I wanted to make my hubby a special card this year.  He's been through so much and I am so grateful he will be here to share another Christmas with us.  He went through cancer and quad bypass surgery and he's finally feeling better!  He loves the beach and I had a blast making him this card!  I ended up adding teardrop bling on the Christmas lights on the palm tree!  He
actually gave me that idea after he opened it (he said Im surprised you didnt put bling on the lights on the palm.)

Bits of red bling were added to the wreath on the van too.  Silver sakura pen was applied to Santas glasses n bucket.

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful hubby!  I love you Rick!

Nice List

Just finished up my Christmas cards for 2020 and mailed them today.  I was so wanting to add the snow drifts on all of them but due to personal issues I didnt have enough time.  I wanted to post one with the snow drifts (it doesnt show up in the pic but sakura silver pen was added on the caps for shimmer.)  Thanks to my Aunt Lori who gave me this adorable set and die cuts by Birdie Brown and on My Favorite Things store.  Because of Aunt Lori everyone will get this sweet Santa!  I added a pom pom on his hat and sakura pen on his buckle.  Dimensions were used on Santa n the snow drifts and the polka dot paper was a great backdrop for a look like snow is falling.

I made this for a challenge over at SCS for being thankful to all who are involved with helping out during this time.  I decided to make mine for chemists who are working to help to get this under control.   There are so many out there doing their part.  I hope we can all get back to normal as soon as its safe. I fussy cut the images, scored the paper for the wall, used brick emboss for the floor and a strip of white cardstock for the baseboard, Sakura stardust pen was used on the bottles and the tiny bubbles I added.  Thanks for stopping by!

Meowy Christmas!

Been a long time since I posted and wanted to share my Christmas Card for 2019.  I ended up using 7 different designer papers and this is one of the cards using the holly leaves and I added a red strip of cardstock just along the bottom.  Three bits of red bling were placed on the cat image over the holly berries.  The image panel was raised with pop dots for dimension.  White sheer ribbon tied to the side to finish it off.  Over 40 cards were put together and they came together pretty quickly.  Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happiest New Year yet!

Not again!

Hello!  Been a long time!  I have been very wrapped up in some personal matters and haven't been making too many cards lately.  I made this one today for the challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers to make a card involving rain.
I made this card using SU card stock and a cute clipart image.  I printed the image on blue cardstock twice and then cut out just the umbrella on one image and taped it down over red cardstock to cut out the red umbrella.  I found a teardrop bling above her hand and a bit of red satin ribbon on her dress waistline.  Dimensions were also used to pop up the umbrella and image panel.  It sure has been raining her a lot so this was the perfect card for it!  TFL!

Delivery 2018

Christmas is almost here and I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year!  I wanted to share a card I made during the holiday season.  I like to make cards while the tree and house are decorated because it puts me in the spirit. But I think next year I will start a bit earlier with making cards so I can spend more time embellishing them.  Today I want to share a card where I cut out the hedgehog and added dimensionals to give him a 3-D look. I tore some paper and popped it up in front to give the effect of snow and added glitter on the top of the snow bank and parts of the mailbox as well.  White ribbon was added and I punched out some musical notes to add to the white space on the top right.  Thank you for stopping by!
Supplies: Penny Black, Papers by Recollection, Studio G Glitter, Offray Ribbon, Music Punch and Dimensionals

Guest Designer Ashleigh Mello with CAS Christmas Party Invites

Christmas will be here before you know it and today I want to share with you one of my favorite card designs known as CAS (Clean and Simple).  This adorable Christmas Party Invite was created by Guest Designer Ashleigh Mello who loves to create and is a great cook as well!
The CAS design is perfect for mass producing for invites or Christmas cards.  And with this card, not only is it clean and simple its packs a punch by using the contrasting colors and an adorable Santa with his red sparkly hat.  So much fun!  And it was made by using a Christmas gift tag.  So clever! Ashleigh removed the string and then placed red glitter tape to hide the hole. Popped it up on the card and you have a quick and easy, clean and simple adorable Christmas Party Invite!  Thank you Ashleigh for sharing this adorable card!

Supplies: Printed cards from Hobby Lobby, Santa Gift Tags and Red Glitter Tape
