Delivery 2018

Christmas is almost here and I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year!  I wanted to share a card I made during the holiday season.  I like to make cards while the tree and house are decorated because it puts me in the spirit. But I think next year I will start a bit earlier with making cards so I can spend more time embellishing them.  Today I want to share a card where I cut out the hedgehog and added dimensionals to give him a 3-D look. I tore some paper and popped it up in front to give the effect of snow and added glitter on the top of the snow bank and parts of the mailbox as well.  White ribbon was added and I punched out some musical notes to add to the white space on the top right.  Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Holidays Elf!

Hello!  I hope you are doing well and appreciate you stopping by.  I wanted to share a card I made last year that I never got around to posting here on the blog.  I will be uploading a card in the next couple of days that I made for my 2018 card.  On this I ended up cutting out the whole Elf image and applying dimensionals.  I colored him with copics before I cut him out.  Green bling was added for buttons and silver glitter pen on the bell on his hat.  I love this sweet image by Birdie Brown at MFT's.  He was so much fun to color. Hope you have a Wonderful Christmas!
Supplies: MFT Birdie Brown, Copics, Pop Dots, Green Bling, Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen.

Guest Designer Ashleigh Mello with CAS Christmas Party Invites

Christmas will be here before you know it and today I want to share with you one of my favorite card designs known as CAS (Clean and Simple).  This adorable Christmas Party Invite was created by Guest Designer Ashleigh Mello who loves to create and is a great cook as well!
The CAS design is perfect for mass producing for invites or Christmas cards.  And with this card, not only is it clean and simple its packs a punch by using the contrasting colors and an adorable Santa with his red sparkly hat.  So much fun!  And it was made by using a Christmas gift tag.  So clever! Ashleigh removed the string and then placed red glitter tape to hide the hole. Popped it up on the card and you have a quick and easy, clean and simple adorable Christmas Party Invite!  Thank you Ashleigh for sharing this adorable card!

Supplies: Printed cards from Hobby Lobby, Santa Gift Tags and Red Glitter Tape

You're a Treasure!

I can't believe I have not posted in so long.  I have been very busy with personal matters and going through some depression as a result.
So I have put my card making on hold but I wanted to post a card I made a while back that I never posted here on my blog.  I had so much fun making it too and hope to get around to making cards again.  This card is made using Birdie Brown designs which I love! I used two different circle die cuts and some brads for the porthole effect.  I colored and cut out each image and made this scene.  I hope it makes you smile.  Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies: Birdie Brown Designs, Papers by Recollections and DCWV, Sakura Glitter Pen in silver, Circle Die Cuts, Brads, Pop Dots and Copics

Shabby Chic Butterfly

One of my favorite styles is the CAS (Clean and Simple) style.  Once I decide on a idea the rest of it comes together quickly and easily (unless I cant find what I need right away) but I love the simplicity of the style.  On this card I found a designer paper I liked and cut out the oval, to make it more sturdy it was backed by white cardstock when cut.  I popped it up on a thick dimensional and punched out a butterfly using the Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch.  Small gems were added to the body of the butterfly and white ribbon finished it off.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies:  Recollections card in white, oval die cut, ribbon, pop dot, bling, MS Butterfly Punch and DCWV Designer paper
