Yep its that time of year again! I titled my post from a line of one of my favorite Christmas songs from Charlie Brown Christmas...LOVE that special...Linus always pulls at my heart strings when he reminds us of what Christmas is all about...I wanted to make something to give as a hostess gift for the Christmas party this year...I usually take an ornament but I thought of something a bit different to try...You can use the Michaels coupons to save on the items you purchase...They have these cute white lanterns in the Wedding section of the store and I like to put one out at Christmas on the table next to my centerpiece and light it up....On this hostess gift I filled the lantern with Hershey Kisses and came up with the poem you see printed out...Once the kisses are all gone they put in a tea light (I purchased a battery operated one so the top doesnt get too hot and it wont effect the poinsettia I attached)...I added an extra tea light inside the box...Click on the photo to enlarge and read the poem that will go inside the box...I hope you are having a great Christmas Time....Now you know I have to add this video!

This is such a great idea! Love the poem & lantern together. I'm stumped as to what to get my kids teachers as gifts this year. I thought about giving them gift cards but needed something to go with it. This would be a great gift to go along with a gift card. I need to make a trip to Michaels. Thank you, Cookie! :)
Aaaaah, Cookie, how sweet! I love everything about your post and your gift. I just taped Charlie Brown Christmas last night so I can watch it with the kids! Love your poem, what a clever idea...might just copy you on that. Fun, fun, fun for a hostess.
