Happy Birthday!

I love Whimsie Doodle Digi images so much!  A friend of mine asked if I would make a Birthday card for his girlfriend.  I thought of this image right away and I thought it would also be great for the January Challenge going on over at Whimsie Doodles Blog.  I colored the image with copics and added a cute blue button brad for interest.
Matted it and popped it up on dimensions against the polka dot paper, then added the Happy Birthday for a tag style look.  I hope they both like it! And I hope she has a great birthday!  Here are the details for the challenge over at Whimsie Doodles Blog!

Winter Candy

This was one of my favorite images by Whimsie Doodles Christmas digis images to color.  I found the perfect paper to use for this card in the Whimsie Doodle Challenge for December.  I colored the digi with copics and added red bling over the buttons.  A candy cane brad was tied onto the jute for fun.  Thanks for stopping by.  If you head over to Whimsie Doodles Blog you can play along too!  Here's the challenge.

Mimi and Rudolph

This card was another fun experience.  I added some whimsy paper and coordinated the colors with my copics to color Mimi. Some pom poms were added to her colorful hat and die cut snow drifts with a bit of sparkling snow on the caps grounded the image.   Red bling for Rudolph's nose.  And then white satin ribbon tied to the fold. Mimi Christmas

Time for some whimsy fun using a sweet stamp from Penny Black that features Mimi.

I stamped her in Momento Black Ink then colored her with Copics.  I added some glitter glue to the stars and her wings after I cut and matted the image using pop dots to give a dimension.  I stamped the top portion of the stamp so I could color and cut out the hat and popped it up as well.  I just love Mimi!  I will be sharing another one tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by!

Clean and Simple Christmas 2016

Christmas 2016

It's been too long since I have posted and I was hoping to have more time to make and share cards but it's been a busy few months.

I just finished over 40 Christmas cards to send out and decided to do a variety of a few different styles using this "JOY" die cut by Paper Trey Ink that I got a few years back.  I used it before on cards in a different way but this time I paired it with different Christmas papers I had in my stash and on this one I added the holly die cut with red bling for sparkle.  Some jute was added for texture.  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happiest New Year Ever!
