Sending a Happy Halloween

During the spring I made a card with the same idea but used butterflies instead...On this one I went with a Halloween theme and added some googly eyes to these cute punched out bats...Then positioned them as if they were flying out of the envelope....For texture I added an embossed panel and tied off the envelope with a little ribbon with the sentiment "Happy Halloween"....I had fun making this one!!

Hedgie with Flowers...

Hello!  Well it looks like summer is on the way out and fall is on the way in!  Which here in Florida means its going to be hot for a while longer...But its fun to get ready for fall anyway...I thought the orange and green would be good choices for this card since theres alot of that in the stores right now...Theres a challenge over at SCS and this is the sketch they are using for today...Takes the thinking out of the layout...And I am layout challenged for sure!  The hedge hog and some of the flowers and the butterfly were cut out and popped up for dimension...Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you are all doing great!!

Summer Fun...

Hello!  I hope this post finds you doing well on this summer day...Its been too long since my last post!  I wanted to share with you this cute image from Whimsy Doodles...Isnt she cute?  Its a digi image so you can size her any way you want and on this card I printed her twice so I could cut out and pop up the life preserver and added some white jute for fun...I thought the red, white and blue colors fit best and then I added some stars for a last touch...Thanks so much for stopping by today...
Have a great week!

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has sprung!  Well at least it has on this card...I originally wanted to make a tiny envelope on this using a template till I ran across this mini envelope that was bigger but it ended up working best with this butterfly punch I used...I used my ribbon to chose the colors I would use for my butterflies...I then arranged them as if they were flying out of the envelope and tiny pearls were added to the centers...You could use just the tiny butterflies on a smaller envelope and maybe print out a message to slide inside partially sticking out like "Happy Birthday" just for fun...Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Special thanks to Lori Hamilton for being the Guest Designer last week!

Valentines Day with Guest Designer Lori Hamilton

Happy Valentines Day!  I am so excited to share this cute creation by our Guest Designer Lori Hamilton!  Isnt this the sweetest card!  I just love the colors Lori chose and how she framed out this Digi Image in the heart die cut then layered it with the pink coordinating paper...Love the scalloped layer...Then she layered the sentiment with two different sized circles and then a scalloped one to the bottom....The sweet heart buttons which Lori even threaded with twine top this sweet Valentine card off!  Lori always makes sure she decorates the inside of her cards with coordinating papers which she did on the inside of this one along with a digi stamp in the corner...It's always a treat to share Lori' Designs because she always gives so much love and detail to her cards....Thanks so much for stopping by today and special thanks to Lori Hamilton who let me share this sweet card with you on this Valentines Day...
