Close to You...

I have been on a Penny Black fest for a while now...Their stamps are just so darn cute! This is a Mimi stamp I recently got from my "Fairy Craft Mother" (thats what I call my Aunt) and speaking of my Aunt I will be posting a card made by her this week too...Its so pretty and I cant wait to share it with you...For this Mimi card I added a button and used some dental floss to thread it since its so easy to thread then some gingham ribbon tags to the right and some bling on a few of the flowers...I have been on a gingham kick too...I couldnt help but think of the Carpenters song "Close to You" when I named my post...Now I have to post that song! Hi! Hope today is finding you well! I have been having a blast making cards with Penny Black stamps...They are one of my all time favorite! Their images are always so cute and stamp a very crisp image everytime. On this card I stamped the image twice so I could cut out both of the mice and pop them up using dimensionals...I used my three in one punch by Martha Stewart to add the butterfly with a bit of bling in the center for interest...Then a bit of gingham ribbon on the right side for fun...Thanks so much for stopping by today! Mimi is making cupcakes!

Hi! Hope you are doing great this weekend...Its pouring the rain here right now but we need it so its a good thing...My Aunt recently gave me several Penny Black stamps and this cutie was one of them...I just love Mimi! She is so cute and fun to color....On this card I cut out and popped up the cupcake (and added some red bling for the cherry) and then popped up her hat too...I found some old ribbon in my stash that went well with the colors I used and it gave a little something extra...Thanks so much for stopping by! Crusin Mimi

I just LOVE these cute stamps by Penny Black...This one is called "Mimi on the Go"...My Aunt was so sweet to get me several of these stamps recently and I couldnt wait to ink them up! On this card I stamped and cut out the image, added brads on the wheels and made a little scene with blue paper for sky, designer paper for land and cloud and circle punches finish it off...She was so much fun to color too!
