Let's Hang Out...

I had so much fun making this card...I LOVE bird cages and I found this stamp a while back in the dollar bin at Michaels...I have had this idea in my head for a few days and thought I better do it before I forget...My favorite style is clean and simple so I took one of my favorite stamps and paired it with that style...I first stamped, scanned and enlarged it just a big bigger than the orginal stamped image...colored the birds to go with the ribbon I wanted to use, punched a hole in the top part to add a jumper ring to string the ribbon through...Pop Dots were added to the back of the birdcages to secure them once I cut them out...I also did this on one sheet of paper and put that on top of the front of the card so you cant see the ribbon secured on the back...Fun and Super Easy! The inside sentiment will say "Lets Hang Out"...Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope your day is tweet! :D

Dreaming Of A White Christmas...(Already?)

No not really....but I had to get in on the challenge over at SCS today cause it sounded so fun...Keeping it very clean and simple I went with a photo from my all time favorite movie "White Christmas" since using snow and distressing were part of the challenge I wanted to use an old photo like this and distress it then put some glitter snow on just the bottom portion of the card...The sparkle doesnt show up on the photo but it sparkles so pretty in person...If you get a chance check out the challenge here and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sand and Sea...

Hi! Hope everyone is doing great...This card is for the Clean and Simple Challenge going on over at SCS...I cant believe they are up to 81 challenges already! Time sure does fly...(no pun intended....Doh) The challenge is a color one and the colors are white, kraft and turquoise...I know exactly who this card is going to...And if my Aunt Lori reads this she will too...I used my Martha Stewart Bird Punch to simulate seagulls and tore my paper to give the foam effect of the water at the beach when it rushes up to the shore...This was a fun card to make...A silver bead was added just for fun...Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Blinged Butterfly and Swiss Dots..

I had so much fun making this card...The butterfly was cut out of a K&C Designer Paper Stack...To give it more substance after I cut it out and taped it down to a piece of cardstock then cut it out again....I have been using my swiss dots folder alot more lately and used it on this card too....The sentiment is from SU Whimsical Words...Bling is one of my favorite things to use on cards to give them something special....Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!

Too Much Monkey Business...

I made this card for my Grandson who will be turning 3 years old in August! I have been calling him monkey lately so when I saw these cute stickers I had to make a card using them...The embossed leaf and kraft paper I thought went well with the theme...Twine was added to make it look like the guys were swinging from it and the one of the bottom has a dime on the backside so its weighted enough to swing back and forth...My Stampin Up buttons were the perfect color to go with this card...I couldnt help but think of a song Elvis sang called "Too Much Monkey Business" so I had to find the song on youtube...Have a great week!!
